i was wondering how my Cr would fair with mt buddys raptor the raptor has a sproket fore more top end i dont know what size it is DMC pipe some proflow filter or something and has been jetted my CR has a pro circut works pipe and race shorty twin air filter yet to be jetted

i don't know if a cr125 with only that stuff will take a raptor, it should, but my kx i can take raptors, my list of stuff is at the bottom on my profile

Wo wo, a cr125 smokin a Raptor?thats hard to belive,since a 125 deos about 70mph,or less,and a 250 will only do about 75-78mph.

And thats a fact,now in dirt,a dirtbike is faster,so mayeb in dirt,the 125 will beat it,but on the pavement the Raptor SHOULD win.

If it was a long drag reace too,your not suposed to keep a 2stroke pinned,so unless the dude wants to blow his top-end,then the raptor should also win in a long distance race also.

I raced Raptors all day long at st joes last saturday with my YZ250
and i had no problem beating each and every one of them, some had pipes and some did not. I also raced a Raptor with my brother inlaws 400EX about 3 or 4 times and the Raptor beat me by 4 bikes each time. Considering the Raptor cost I think about 2000.00 more than a 400EX it doesnt seem worth the price and get the Raptor on a mx track the 400EX handles so much better you couldnt even tell the Raptor had more power! The EX wins on MX track.

how do you think my cr would do?? i'm not sure what size jets i have, the dude told me, but i forgot. i've raced a 400ex and a z400, it beats them pretty bad, but i have yet to race a raptor.

u should be able to take him my friends YZ125 takes a stock raptor everytime off the line, and in top end on a 1/8 mi grass field

my cannibal is just a bike length behind a 250 two stroke. the 250 motocross bikes aren't choked up like quads, so if i put a pipe and remap on mine i would really be able to beat him. i just have problems keeping the front end down!

well since the Cr is geared more for MX, it won't have the top end like a Raptor. The Cr will beat it off the line and keep pulling, and then if the race is long enough and both of yall can hit the top end in your highest gear, you still have to go a little ways for the Raptor to catch up.

I don't know about the Dale vs. the Cr. A friend of mine races a Cr125, and I've been meaning to race him. I'll let yall know when I do. He'll prolly beat me, but I meant, I'll let yall know what the race was like.

you should beat a cr125, they are the weakest of the 125s and my cannibal will come pretty close to a 250.

You guys are all nutz and have no clue........ A CR125 will smoke a Raptor, c-dale, 400EX, and althose other ones with no problem....... The weakest 125 will have more top end than any raptor........ I guess alot of you never rode a 125cc dirt bike....... CrapFish you will be so far behind a 250 the roost would settle before you even had a chance to eat it....... C-dales aint that fast crackfish so relaxxxxxxxx!!!!

your saying a cr125 has less top end than a raptor??? Thats all a 125 has it has practically no bottem or mid and only makes power when its wrapped out. Did you mean top speed? I would think they would be pretty equel and tend to agree with pro400.

Oops... I did mean top speed :blah. The Raptors have more top SPEED. Yes, I have ridden 125's. YZ, KX, RM, Cr. I'm not stupid... I know the 125's will easily beat me off the start, but if the race is long enough, I could probably catch one. That is, if the 2-stroke didn't blow up from being held wide open to long. I'd catch him easily then

No big deal. I know him from a different forum and lets just say he was about as bright as a burnt out light bulb. I could right a book about the outragious things he has said but he aint worth it.

The last time I took my R to st joe.I went with my buddy that has a 2001 cr125.In drags we where dead even.I had to slip the clutch alot to get it to hook decently in the sand.We switched riders and the same results.(weve both been riding since we where little)

The sad thing is my R is moded and his stock.

I think when I get my R fixed I am going to sell her and buy either a 400ex,z400 or a new cr125.

Yes they are great bikes.But I haven't rode in six months because of reliabilty.Should have sold her when I could and bought a new bike!
