if anyone has ideas for a quad ramp that would be great or they could design one for me and have like a pic. of what it would look like that would be great or if you already finished one and have a pic.
thanks guys. if you could estimate about how much a quad ramp that would cost that would be fantastic. i dont want anything huge...something like 20-30 feet maybe a little bigger.
anyone know if it is bad to build a ramp but have to land on a flat ground? b/c i dont have a tractor so building a landing pad would be a pain in the *** with a shovel lol so if you had any idea of what i could do with that. thanks guys

anyone had any experience with building ramps and the cost of it and if it was harder then they expected. if anyone has a layout they could scam and post here that would be great. thanks, mike

You'll pry need a landing ramp with just about any jump your are going to be freestyling on. I would say anything over 3ft tall or over you will need a landing ramp. We built a 5'2" metal ramp and it cost more that expected. But the results were good.

how much total would you say it cost? i know its going to be expensive but when i get done, im gonna be like, woah thats a lot more lol. how much did you think and how much did it come out to? ur ramp looks sick tho. thanks, mike

Depends on how big of one you want to make. I would say to start from scratch one like ours would cost around 700 bucks to make. Depends on the steel prices.

honestly go with dirtbike ramp plans. the aussie comp ramp is an easy ramp to get used to. PLEASE if you want to hit ramps dont downsize and hit little ramps. Go with the real deal and make it 6 ft wide and just move it up. trust me, you'll progress so much faster on a full size ramp and spending pointless time on little ramps. trust me on this one guys

Thanks for the advice Jon. We are trying to sell our little one right now and get a full size one.
I have however learned a few tricks on our ramp. No footed can, cordova-not fully extended, heel clicker, supa man, and like candy bars, nac nacs, and a few other combos. So any buyers out there it is good for that.

hi i would probably be interested in that ramp..how much u want? pm me for price and send more pics. if you can. where r u located?
anyone else have ideas? i only looking to go like 30 feet or so off the ramp and just do simple things like a no footer no hander combo or something..nothing huge but can do other things....
is it rough going off a ramp and landing on flat ground?
anyone suggest a wooden ramp over metal? why?

i would be interested in possibly buying the ramp. since we are moving to a farm and i'll have a little track/freestyle course set up. so PM me on a price and possibley a few more pics. if you dont have a landing ramp then but the ramp on top of a hill so that when you land you landing on the down side of the hill. landing in the flat huts like crazy and is a good way to break a frame. (i broke my old frame on my warrior i had then had it welded back togeather)

lol im not the one selling the ramp. the other guy is so u can PM him...i was just about to PM as well

im gonna put in 2 pictures of what my landing area would be...is this too flat or is it enough of a hill?
Posted by: quad&dirtbike
from the bottom of the landing area...is it enough of a slant or should i make one myself in the field? i dont have a tractor and shovel wont work lol...guess i'll rent one if i have to
Posted by: EXer #33
hmmmmm, id spend the money on a rental, imo
Posted by: quad&dirtbike
whats rental and what does IMO mean?
Posted by: theTman
rental=rent the tractor
imo= in my opinion
Posted by: quad&dirtbike
yeah i figured that after i posted it lol. thanks

i built a track with a shouvle and u could get a big landing side if u shouvled 6 hours a day 5 days a week for 3 weeks u would have a huge pile.
Posted by: quad&dirtbike
im not wasting my day shoveling lol...down here in Jersey, well atleast at my house, its all rocks so using a shovel + hitting rocks= going no where far
Posted by: blue450yo
it was all rocky for me too i mean big rocks but i got em out. once i got so deep the rocks went away and it was in a old farm field.
after i got the rocks out i put em in a pile and thrue sand on em for the jumps. the pic shows a jump i made and long side that jump its 5 feet deep hole for about atleast 100 feet long that i got some dirt out of.
but u could rent a skidsteer for around 200 for a day.

i almost got ran over.lol but u can see i dug in this pic
Posted by: blue450yo
sense it looks like u got alot of trees u could do what i did for a landing spot. pile a bunch of logs and rocks up and then throw a lil dirt on em and your good to go or ask a farmer if he can dig some dirt for u thats what i did one time to or jest have a dump truck dump a load or two.

also, watch you local paper, alot of times people need to get rid of fill dirt, and they will bring it over and give it to you for free, just so they can get rid of it
