can you use a 85 atc axle in a 86 trx quad ? im not sure cause it lists different part # s for aftermarket axles. i found a guy selling an adjustable 85 atc axle cheap .let me know thanks

No !! The 85 is it's own beast.. A 86 ATC will fit though ..

I went thru this myself, 85 is its own....but, for some reason my 89 fit the 85

My 86, and 87 axles WILL NOT... but my 89 does

Running it in a 85 carrier and swinger as we speak

But for the record, 85 is 85 only

85-87 axles uses hub spacers, dont have an 88.. but have an 89 and it dont use any spacers

Just wanted to throw my experiance out there
