I have a 2004 400ex and I am wondering what I should do for my winter rebuild. I have a budget of under 1000 because I am also saving for an 06 450r. I plan on doing:

-swing-arm re-lubed
-swingarm powdercoated gloss black
-axel chromed
-AC swingarm skip plate
-aluminum air box

Who has the best aluminum air box that I can get? All my other modifications are in my sig. Any advice or help will be very appreciated!!!

Im not sure what an aluminum air box does compared to stock, but ive heard it lets more air in?

yes aluminum lets air flow better then stock. It also houses the battery which keeps your subframe from bending to ****
