Need to know the oil tank drain bolt size on the '04 YFZ450. I snapped it off while trying to change the oil. Is this a reverse threaded bolt???? Is this something I can pick up at Lowes/Home Depot real quick. I need it so I can ride tomorrow. HELP!!!!!

If you go to yfzcentral and do a search for the yfz manual, it is online there. The bolt size will be listed there. I know it takes a 11mm wrench but i dont know the length, good luck.

I did the same thing to mine, snapped it off, I rethreaded it, and got a new bolt from Yamaha.

www.dgy.com has every bolt for the YFZ

11mm i thought it was a 12mm same as the drain plug on the case

and i also think the bolt is a standard pitch on most of the bolts on that quad...ive got many a bolts for it at our local hardware store....good luck

Thanks for the info ACE Wrench. I had to get it tapped out yesterday. I didnt have much luck with the easy out this weekend.
