I want to remove the headlights and the electric start. If I remove the headlights, do I need a resistor kit? By putting on the kick conversion, I am going to eliminate the battery and everything else that goes along with that, correct?
What do the kicker kits run? I saw GYT-R's was around $400!!

yes if you install the kicker you can remove the battery.i prob wouldn't bother with the resistor kit if you're removeing the battery.you don't need the whole gyt-r kit.the gears and gaskets should run you about $200.then you just need a kicker.alot of people go with the yz kicker because it's smaller and you don't need to cut your fenders as much.most shops will modify your wiring harness for the kicker only for under $50 too.

Thanks bro...On a scale from 1-10, how hard is it to convert it yourself?

it's not that bad but you have to go into the case half to add the gears.if you turn your own wrenches you should have no problems but it's not a "bolt on" thing.
