I have 2500 saved up for the 06 450er. I was planning on buying one, but then I started thinking about getting a 250r. My question is what kind of condition 250r could I get with 2500-3000 dollars? What would you buy an 06 450r or a 250r.

its up to you, but if it was me it would be the 450r hands down.

you can go ahead and buy a 250r with the money you have now, but you will end up spending the extra money fixing the 250r that you could have used for a 450r. my friend raced a almost completely aftermarket 250r last year in the b class harescrambles and finished 4th for the year. he switched to a stock 450r, and now runs in the top 3 of the A class, only because how much better the 450r is. the choice is very simple.
