Will the HRC cam from the 06 kit work well in the 05 R? What should I expect for performance gains. I am running a LRD pro 4 series complete, Pro-flow w/K&N and outer wears, no lid rejetted currently jetted well, and a 13 Tooth on the front

anybody have anything on this? I am having a cam installed and the dealer has the 06 kit, they claim there is no difference in the 06 HRC and the crf cam and it will pull fine.......Please reply

They are completely different cams, this is a fact. Get the correct kit for your machine. The 05 cam has more lift and the motors are different all together.

The 05 HRC cam has a lot more duration than the 06 HRC cam- which is actually a 02 CRF cam! The CRF cam has more bottom end!
