How do you remove the swingarm bolt from a 05 450r?

put the quad on a stand, take the nut off the one side, then go to the other side and beat the hell out of it with a hammer and punch or anything to hit it out, try some power lube or whatever on it too,

I guess I just got lucky then. My 04's bearing just went out, so I thought I would pull the swing arm bolt out and grease it. Being as it hadnt been out yet I was scared. I pushed it out with 1 finger and then pulled it out not stuck at all.

I was prepared for a fight. Had a b and m hammer and 20 pound sledge ready. I have burried this R in mud up to the air box 8 or 9 times and mud bog it regularly(sp). We have 2 creek crossing that is up to the air box we cross on a regular basis. I never dreamed it would come right out.

mine came out a year ago after I had it for 4 months and I lubed it up with white lithium grease. I wonder if it will come out now?

If people would clean and grease there pivot points, then there wouldn't be siezed bolts and trashed bearings.

exactly. i have removed and cleaned mine only 2 times in over a year of riding, and both times it has come out with no problem at all. you just need to take it out and grease it every once in a while.
