Best pipe and air filter for a 400ex?

I like the white brothers e series pipe and im not sure about air filter tho i have heard a lot about k&n air filter. List some of your favorites of each and if you got any feed back about how good either are plz tell me. If not just state what pipe and air filter u like best. Thx guys.

I would do the HMF or sparks pipe. I would recomend the TwinAir Foam Filter. It has performed well. The K&N lets to much dirt in.

we have had good luck with the sparks and the full HMF also. both have a large increase over the slip ons we have tried. we actually preferred the uni filters over the twin air. the twin air is a smaller and has a rubber back to it like the stock filter. the back (end of the filter) on the uni if foam so it can flow.

HMF and UNI, unless you ride dunes, then get a K&N, i would take a uni over k&n for everything except dune ridin.

Cant beat the sound of an HMF

All sounds good, my bro has a hmf and its kinda noisy, not that i hate it but just a lil louder than i would like. I like the wb e series cuz it sounds good and is adjustable. I'm still not sure on the air filter, and more feedback would be great.

My dad has one on his 400ex, and the thing i like about em is the sound, and performance are both real good, but wat i mainly like is the adjustability, so that i can make it super loud or just the way i want it. Thats the only reason i really like it, plus price isnt to bad for $215.

Well.... i aint ever had no trouble at all out of my WB its done me just fine, I got a buddy thats got 1 on his 400 and its been on there about 2 or 3 year and its doin fine 2. But i dont regret buyin my WB at all. Thats just me though

I like em, just ridin my dads is a whole lot better than mine, I know there is better out there but i'm just lookin for something that gives better bottom end for trail ridin, and i think wb gives just that. Thats just what i think tho.

Yeah im the same way, I know theres better Pipes than the WB, BUT i like mine. I trailride is all i do with my 400, IF i ever buy another pipe im gonna buy the Curtis Sparks.

A TC exhaust and a K and N airfilter. Half of these poeple that talk crap about k and n probably havent even owned one. If it let in to much dirt my motor should have been gone in the middle of the season. Its called preventive mainteance. To me a little bit of extra cleaning is worht the little bit more of airflow u get from a k and n.

Ya I just ordered the wb today and i just got the so for now. Some day i mite go to full and that will be better, but all i need is a little more bottom end. So i know ill b satisfied.

I dont mind having to clean it more than usual, as long as i am gettin more air. It wont be as good but i'm fine with that.
