so I am about 86% shure I want a suzuki 450. some ppl say that a quad on its first year is a pos.. well is this true. to me it SEEMs that it only really holds true to the honda 450r. which is better every year.
Does anyone remember if there where any major changes to the z-400 the first cupple years it came out?
also, I cant event express how excited I am about the efi. My quad sat for a good month because of jetting issues...
but, on cars I know that the injectios have to be bumped up to handle more airflow sometimes. Think this same thing will happen? to run a big bore or somthing do you ppl think that the injectors will need to be bumped up?
I am no expert either....

The Z400's had problems with the frames being too weak. And I do recall quite a few people were cracking the frame on their 450R on the first year, and they weren't riding that hard either. So every quad has it's flaws the new year, and I'm assuming the Suzuki 450 probably will too.
As for the EFI, I don't know quite how much the injectors can handle as far as air/fuel flow but it's possible that someone will make bigger injectors for someone running some extreme mods.
