e-ton 50 problems NEED MECHANICS!!

MY SON HAS A 2004 E-TON 50 I TOOK OF THE 2 STROKE OIL INJECTION,ADDED BOYSEN REEDS,STOCK PIPE STOCK JETTING. THE PROBLEM.I CAN NOT GET IT TO REV QUICKLY,OR SEEM TO GET THE AIR SCREW ADJUSTED RIGHT.HE RUNS IT FOR ABOUT 30MIN THE IT WANTS TO SHUT OFF ALL THE TIME.WHEN IT COME DOWN FROM REVING UP IT IDLES FAST THE DROPS OFF QUICK ALMOST DYING,

Sounds like your jetting is off, you need to re-jet w/ new reeds it is now getting more fuel
check your plug & go from there!! Might be lean?? I'm not totally 100% sure but sounds like a lean condition I'm sure someone w/ more knowledge will chime in

take the jet out & take it too your local parts house, I'm not sure wht kind they are, ours are Mikuni's we purchased them @ our local race shop!! You could also go chekc this out Lucky7 Ed w/ Lucky7 is VERY knowledgeable & helpful along w/ others on that site
you may also need to adjust your air/fuel screw too

0forgot to add that on that other site there is a Tech page that is filled w/ VERY useful info on what parts interchange ect I printed it out & it stays w/ me wherever I go LOL, LOTS of interchangeables!!!!

THINK THERE WAS A AIR LEAK IAM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE AIR BOOT THAT GOES INTO THE AIR BOX FROM THE CARB TO STAY IN THE AIR BOX,WENT TO THE DEALER DID NOT HAVE THE JET,ANY ONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A BIGGER JET?

usw a tiny drill bit ,laugh if you want but i v done my sons and others "it works" tiny drill, put in vise and use your fingers to twist the jet over the drill bit

You can buy a set of micro drill bits from Harbor Freight for like $15 or so.

LOL ahhh just got done doing some shopping on RMATV stie they've got GREEAT deals right now, on the front page ots of stocking stuffers!!! Got both boys new riding gear too 

Better check em out before they are all gone I know last year it went FAST,
