I run a hmf slip on. It has more of a loud high pitch tone. I really like the low thumper tone better. Is this all in the manufacturing of different brands of pipes or will a quiet core insert do it. I have no internal motor work done(piston, cam, so on).

do you have your quiet core in if so that is whats makin it high pitch
if you take it out it will make the sound you want it to make it will have that low nice sounding grunt

My full Hmf has a nice deep tone.

No quiet insert. I've raced some mx and hare scrambles and heard a few quads that sounded very deep in tone. It was least of my concern at the time so I never really paid attentoin.
