How big is that track? What are there lap times. Just wondering. My buddy just opened up an outdoor 1 tenth of a mile banked oval. My son has been practicing on it and he LOVES it. He said he loves the high speed and hanging off the side sliding it around the turns. I like the fact that you can see your kid all the time compared to not seeing him for a LONG time in XC racing. This spring we will be racing flat track to keep in shape for XC racing.

Quadjunkies, Hope your kids do good and the best of luck to them. Tell little quadjunkie to take it easy on them boys and don't smoke them to bad with that new engine

I'm not sure about QJ track but ours is about the same I think, it is a 100' straight & 50' corners I do believe thats what my brother measured it out as!! AND YES there is nothing funner than hangin' er to the left

Thanks! we will need it!! alot fo the kids are steppin up the game each year. I cant wait t osee how they all ride when they are a few years older!!
DM is pretty much correct on size... For us bigger quads, you can hit it mainly a 3rd gear .
Its a great layout for the minis they REALLY enjoy this track . Kelsey hasnt had all but one day with the new set up and she now has a new gearing to try so the 1st race will be a real test night . Its gonna be a cold one.. Low 20's !!!

Posted by: dirtmomma

OMG low 20's BURRRRRRRR I don't even think my bones would MOVE in that cold LOL Once again GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU GUYS give em hell!!!!!!!!! Tell Troy to get some PICS too LOL cuz you know I can't watch them cool vids yet

Troy..................???????? Take good Pics........................????? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Thats funny!!!

Most of it will be video , but Ill do my best to take some pics in between motos

Posted by: QuadJunkies

well, I had anticipated more pics and videos this wkl end, but I was an airhead and forgot to charge the Camera batteries!

We had a great mini turn out, but no new minis this year - I was hoping to see some new competiton this year

Temps were fairly decent most of the day until dark then it got REALLY cold... Temps were in the low 20's , I remember racing once here before when it was 13 degrees!

We had a few kids from the modified class step up the game this year and had some trick motors to brag about .We was pleasantly pleased with out new Eton Stroker , we ddint get it mainly for FT rather for WORCS series and MX, but it worked well this wk end! I wish I could same the same for my Son, he has some issies and placed last both heat and main,he was a very upset lil man I think we had some Carb issues and will tinker with it this week or try a dif Carb

If everyone is interested, I was thinking of doing the whole series here with videos and some pics if its of interest

Here are some of the pics I took

this is a Horse arena, so there for we use Horse stalls to pit out of . Its nice to have shelter . We NEVER leave w/ bringing the heat!

Posted by: QuadJunkies

pit stall for my kids minis ...

Posted by: QuadJunkies

heres a couple shots of the track....

Posted by: QuadJunkies

My only complaint about the track this year was.. They brought in ALOT of sand this year and took put the Clay Since this is a Horse arena, I do understand the reason for that ,this is a rented facility so we dont have much say on it,we just make do and make the best of it and have fun!

Posted by: QuadJunkies

LilQJ and a freind ,seems like every race anymore we have a new kid we bring out to watch and then they go home BEGGINH there parents to buy them a quad!!! lol

Posted by: QuadJunkies
