5th gear problems?

i ride a 450r but my friend has a yfz and started complaining that he couldnt get it to go into 5th. have any of you had this problem or was he just using that as an excuse after i kicked his butt?

Maybe hes in 5th trying to shift again lol. Nah i have not had any problems shifting into 5th.

thats what hes doing especially if he starts out in 2nd. I'm always like wtf thats it?
