first ride after a crank rebuild and 2nd gear exited case left, tore it apart and 2nd was in 8 pieces. never had any tranny problems before, friend has a spare left case i can have, but i am going to replace 2nd gear with a new one, and the shift fork gear that engages it has a big dent on one of the tabs that holds second, so that will be replaced to, i wasn't riding it at the time but my friend said he was pulling up to stop and a loud bang and thats all she wrote for this years, any one have tranny gears go out and witch ones and is it worth the money for the baldwin gear set? latter this winter will be a 330 big bore or a 310 pv, any advice will be helpful

baldwin gears r great but not necesary unless yur producing major power. just get a good set of new stock gears and get them cryoed. u can hav yur old gears cryoed too but hav them magnufluxed first, to check for cracks
