let me know what you guys think. It took me about 2 years to get to this point and im planin on doin some mx stuff with it. Oh by the way I did all the work myself (except the engine work) and Im only 16. Thanks!

if your going to mx i would get LT a arms and shocks and some engine mods

I used like a brush on a wheel thing that you put on a drill to take rust and things off, I got it from lowes and it worked really well.
As for the engine mods its been ported and is pretty much brand new on the insides (piston crank all that)

very nice man i know how it is i rebuilt mine last year when i was 16 too and wasnt really sure how people would like it because i wanted something different looks nice man i like the classy clean look it has good choice in colors

yea chanko looks great bro good work! the only way to get good at mechanical things is to work on it yourself. just do everything the right way, dont rig things.

She rides awsome, Im pretty new to 2 strokes and I love that mid to top end power its got it literally rips my arms out. Im gunna have to rejet though because its kinds stublin a lil bit. Thanks for all the replies guys!

im in the same position u are. i just rebuilt my 88 by myself and ill be 16 in january. im new to 2 strokes and i dont think i could ever get a 450. 2 strokes are just to fast and fun when they run right.

looking good on the rebuild... i am looking at an 86 250r right now its in pretty rough shape but the motor has just been rebuilt and the guy wants 2500 for it i was wondering if this is a good deal... its all in canadian money... and if so and i end up buying it i was wondering around how much it would cost to rebuild it for the dunes and pit and trail riding and later on for mx thanks
