I have a friend who is a doctor, he bought this 2003 Raptor,rode it about 10 times and thats it ! Never jumped or raced just flipped back a couple of times on attempted wheelies, I am talking mint condition! Now he has gone and bought a Harley and wants to sell the Raptor to me for 2600! Anybody have an idea of what a good price for this would be? Is this a steal?

I forgot to write in there that I already have a nice 400ex, and I wanted to buy this to flip it and try to make some cash on it, thats why I wanted to see what they are going for on the market.

It sounds like a good deal they are usually 5-6 grand and they are kick *** bikes if you put a big gun evo on it.

A used 2003 in good shape is worth about 3800 bucks. Modifications arent really worth much in resale unless its serious engine or suspension work, then there's still a question of reliability. In any case its a great deal and I'd pick it up whether you decide to keep it or sell it and make some dough. You should be able to clear about 1k before taxes.

Yeah I bought it for $2,600 and sold it for $3,500.

I just bought a 2003 ltz400 with full skid plates nerf bars an aftermarket bumper and a yoshi pipe for $2,800.

I made some frame brackets for the front shock mounts to strenghten the weak point.
