these are both great pipes for the yfz, but i hear sparks is about the best pipe you can get, so id go with that

well i have the lrd already..and i like it it made a big difference in performance,but i like how the curtis sounds..would i have to rejet it if i get a curtis sparks?

I would just keep the LRD, I doubt upgrading to a Sparks would make that big of a difference. I've heard good things about the LRD's performance, so just stick with that, unless you have the money to throw away for a new system.

Don't believe the hype! That LRD is a good recreational pipe but will not give you the power or hit that the Sparks would. Sparks is one of the best (if not the best) "Race" pipe on the market.

we have both the LRD pro 4r and the Sparks. On the completely stock '04, the LRD works better throughout the powerband. On our stroked and ported '04 450 and our stock '06, the Sparks gives a harder "hit" in the low end (better for clearing jumps right out of corners) but they are about the same mid to top end.
Of course there was re-jetting involved. The sparks likes more fuel.
