Anybody know if Rocky Ridge Racing is still around. I saw this article a while back and wondered if they still do frame gussetting etc. Tried calling the number - got redirected and tried the new number but never has an answer.

They are still around, the guy who owns it now is Kenny Korwell(sp?). I think they were a little hit or miss before on the contact so just keep trying.

edit: I just went back and read the article, that's an old article. The place is in Leitchfield not Lynchfield. So if nothing else maybe you can find it in the white pages on the net, oh and the area code is 270 now instead of 502, hope it helps.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I wasn't in the ball park for the number I was calling. All I had to do was change the area code. That's why I love this place.

250Renvy - just curious, did you get a hold of him?

Brian - I finally did get ahold of him and he said 250R sandblasting/gussetting and painting is $750 now.

I asked him if he could do a 450R conversion to fit a 250R and I'm going to look into this. I think I'll post in the 450R forum to get feed back if the ride/handling would be worth it.

he does good work - he did a frame for me a long time ago and its still going strong. The powdercoat is still good as well.
