Which one would be faster over all at accelerating and top end?

a Honda Foreman 500 es automatic with hondamatic 4x4 or,

a 250ex with a HMF pipe with a HMF jet kit and a K and N airfilter
and outerwears and no airbox lid and 20 inch maxxis Razrs?

Theres two ppl that i want to race and they think they are the sutff and what not and the kid with the 500 thinks with his cc size that he can beat anything in the world. And rip me a new one. Well whe I raced him stock for stock now, he barely won bc when i topped out I gained on him little by little. So thats why I made two threads.

the foreman should whip your butt. when i had my 250 i raced my friend on his rancher 350 and we were neck and neck, so im pretty sure the 500 would win.

I kinda feel like i'm being bashed or something bc nobdy is agreeing with me like do I even have a chance at all of beating either quad? I get the 300ex rider off the line but then they pass me after about 15 feet or so.

No offense or anything but i don't know how you lost against a rancher 350 i've beaten a foreman 400 and a yamaha utility 350 and a arctic cat 400 when it was in 4x4 so i guess i might have a chance against the 500. I'll let yall know wether I beat the 300ex and the 500 when I race them after I get my parts.

here let me sum up a little something for you...

a stock 250ex - 50 mph
your 250ex - 50 mph
a modded 250ex - 50 mph

i know you dont want to be told a 250ex is slow because you have one but the fact of the matter is, its not a rocket. you wont beat a 300ex, or any of the utilities you listed unless thier are terrible riders holding the bars. i rode a 250ex for 3 years and raced quite a few different quads with equal riders and lost to most all of them. face the facts and accept the fate.

thats true i wish everyone would read that before they ask somthing like that you will hit the rev limter in a race

Well, his 250ex has 20 in tires on back, so it will be about 45 mph. I have heard from someone that his 250ex with a pipe will walk away from his dads kodiak. Don't know if it was a 400 or 450 though.

i got a rancher and all stock i beat a foreman 450 him in a drag race.but in mud he kills me now i have raced a 250ex on my 300ex and those things r slow now im not saying they suck they r fun lil bikes but just slow i will bet $$$$$$$$ that my rancher with 27inch vamps,pipe,snorkel,air filter,jet kit ect.... will beat a 250ex and u wont beat the 500

i doono i realy dont lose that much speed in dirt just slower take of but u never know i can always put my stock tires on and if i get beat oh well it ant made for going fast lol thats what i got my 300 for
