I figured id get more responses here, I've been told a 13 tooth will help out with the stalling and incredably tall first gear. Should i turn up the idle a bit to help too? And also what is the fuel mixture screw and exactly what does it do? Thanks in advance

Yes, a 13 tooth will help you. It made it perfect for me.
The fuel mixture screw helps you get your jetting (right on)

the fuel screw is on the very bottom of the carb. it is a little closer to the left side than the right side of the carb. it is a little brass colored screw that you turn with a flat blade screwdriver. this screw will richen (if you turn it out) or lean out ( if you turn it in) the fuel mixture from idle to around 1/8 throttle or so.
a 13 tooth front sprocket is nice to prevent the bike from stalling. top speed will suffer though.
