Am curious if anyone here is running the digital FTZ/PVL ignition on a big bore engine and if so, once you got the system installed, did you leave the timing at .030 or change it to ???

if you have a digital PVL set at .030, is that housandths or MM?
for the digital it shoudl be set at .8mm-1.mm
.8mm is .031 thousandths

the digital ignition has its own retard and advance so setting the flywheel right is pretty important.
are you using a dial bore gauge to set the timing?
its very important that you set tthe timing up right on the pvl otherwise you can burn holes in the piston and/or melt the piston
