400ex nerf bars fit 450r?

Has anyone tried to fit 400ex nerf bars to a 450r?
If so, what mods did you have to do?
I kept my new bars from my 400ex and would like to put them on my new 450r if possible. thanks for any info
If not possibe, I will sell them and post them in the for sale forum.

It depends what kind they are. If the front mount bolts to the motor mount , no they wont work.

If they have a cross tube that you u bolt to the frame those will.

I have the ones that mount to the motor mounts (ac pro pegs with heel quard) and thanks for your reply.
Could you just cut those brackets off the bars and make new ones somewhere else on the bars to work and not make it luck ugly?

I'm sure you could cut the front mounts off and have some one weld them back up to line up with the motor mount bolt on the 450.

I took my pegs and heel guards off last night on my 06 and just held up the 400ex pro pegs to the quad and noticed that the front bars would hit the cross brace on the frame

To much modifying to get them on and look good, so I'll be selling these.
