I buy mine from Honda, they're higher quality and usually cheaper than what you can buy at an auto parts store or a bearing supply house (I work in a parts store so i should know).

all bearings used by honda for 250r purposes are made by 2 different companies koyo or nsk

these are both quality japanese bearings, that red package that says HONDA dont make it any higher quality. just a higher price.

just go to any bearing house and ask for a 63/28 high speed bearing, they will know what you are asking for, just make sure you ask for an open bearing-which means it has no seal or metal sheilds covering the balls. shoud cost anywhere between $12-$15

as for the waterr pump do the same. should cost between $6-$8

just stay away from the bearings that are stamped china

SKF is also another high quality bearing made in germany. i have used this brand in motors also

I have to agree here, but some people just don't know the difference. From past experience the Honda bearings such as Koyo or NSK are still cheaper than what I can buy at cost from our supplier, one of which is Federal-Mogul, the maker of most BCA bearings.

i always buy nsk from the bearing shop , less than half what honda want normally (or any other manafacturer ) in U.K the honda bearings are equivelent to about $50 each .. the bearing shop will be about $20 .

however i have always had to give them the full set of dimensions before , i'm sure a 63 x 28 bearing will come in more than one width so i was hoping ror all the dimensions but i'll give them a call and see

dont ask for a 63 x 28 say it like this 63/28 (ask for a 63 slash 28) and you will get the right one. if you ask for a 63 by 28 you will get the wrong one.
