Hey i tried searching and i didnt get anything, im taking a poll... do you agree a brand new stock 400ex goes ABOUT 57mph? I saw a radar test done that says 57mph but a friend claims they were paid to say that it was only 57mph when the actually go around 70... so heres a poll, yes you agree with me about 57, or no if you agree with him... THANKS

i've topped my 05 400 out at 69 in a car so i will say it was around 67 atleast

def. wont go 70.
my motor is stock (as far as i know) and i ran 10.26 sec. @ 62 mph in the 1/8th.

My friends 05 with high comp. piston and stage 2 cam ran 10.12 @ like 63 mph in the 1/8th.

it was on the higway and we ran it till my bike toped out sorry you asked i answered and gps's aren't always accurate i no it goes faster than 57 common the speedomoter isnt that far off

The 05's have different gearing with the 14 tooth in front it should do around 60-63

GPS is THE most accurate way to tell your speed., usually accurate to within a about .5 MPH. A stock 400ex will go about 65 topped out.

Mine, when it was stock.......14t front, clocked 66mph when I was riding were I was not supposed tp be... Also, they put up a speed trap in our neighborhood, with the "your going xx mph" and that said 67. So stock has to flirt with 70 IMO.

Well, actually, the 05 and up, may only hit 57. They threw on a 14t front, and changed the gear ratios.... I would say thats close..

if yours hit 66-67 with a 14t up front why couldn't a 05?

i used a gps and mine topped out at 62mph when it was stock down a dirt road.
