yesterday was pretty cool... hit this double for the first time because everything else was to rutted up at this track we go to not far from my house. from talking to people i guess im the first person to clear it on a quad, it looks a lot bigger in person, and if we trimmed down the weeds. we rode till about dark, met up with todd ellefson (works for a sx team based out of a local town... one of there riders is thatcher (sp?) who has the world record long distance jump on a sled (248ft

) ). he and another guy should be getting a kicker fairly soon, so ill be able to get some ramp time! anyone ever land on woodchips with a quad and find any problems?

alright, ill shut up now... here are the pics, i might have a few of some heel clickers and stuff when my friend uploads the video.

that's cool man!! it's an awesome feeling knowing your the only one doing a jump. at a local track, there's a big single to tabletop that i do that no other quad has done. and at our track, there's a 90 foot double that only about 6 or so people on quads have done, but most of them were pro.

keep it up man.........and get a 450

whys he need a 450 if hes rockin on his blaster maybe he should stay with it unlike everyone else that changed as fast as they could get a 450 on their hands

Because a 450 would help him a lot more then beating himself up on a blaster.

Exactly. I've been trying to get him to get a 450, pretty soon I'm just going to let him take mine off the jumps because I'm not too much into jumping/freestyle. I know he'd do hell of a lot better with a 450, I think he's pretty much maxing out the potential of the Blaster.

As for the video, for some reason my video editing program isn't working so I'm going to have to find another program to download to see if I can get his airtime into a video. Anyone have any good programs that you can download off the internet?

a 450 would be real nice, but i have to save for college, a laptop, and a different truck/car, or do a bunch of work to my truck. and id need nerfs, bars, bar riser, different tires... so much stuff that i have on my blaster. i dont mind it to much... fun quad for sure, as long as it stays in one piece. so whether i like it or not its what i have for now. im extending the stem tomorow, should make it feel a lot more comfortable with the cr high bend bars.

that sucks about the footage! i thought you got some good shots of me to, to bad you missed the crash. oh well.... id be really pissed if you did get it and it didnt work.

as far as letting me lauch the black/yeller beast.... anytime

You'd only need the nerfs, just stick the stuff from your Blaster on the 450 (wink, wink, get a Yamaha). All you'd really need to get after the nerfs is a pipe, and a slip-on would do just fine.

Yea I'm pretty pissed that the footage isn't working, I don't understand why it got screwed up.

And for launching the black/yeller beast...maybe the next time we go out to the track I'll try hitting that double, and I'll think about letting you too (as long as I have my killswitch installed by then)...but for now...this is all I got

nice pictures, i've always wanted to hit a double on my quad, we dont ahve any good jumps here, its all trails. looks like you almost lost it on that last picture.

get out the shovel and build one. sure it sucks... but still better than nothing. i actually landed that one pretty smooth, peps soaked it up good. a couple weeks ago now i did go flipping... runway was a bit damp and i didnt get the expected traction. oh well.

thanks for the compliments guys. i took a nice spill off that jump a coupl weeks ago... then a couple days ago again at my house again. oh well.. no major injuries (im lucky) so ill keep on going strong.... snows here so maybe we can work something out with the guy's at the local ski/snowboard place (they have a couple ramps)
