I have a 2000 400ex that will not turn over. The lights aren't working either-as if the battery is dead-but it's not. We tested the contol switch and the CDI Box. Any ideas? I also posted this in the powertrain.

did you try rolling down a big hill or getting pull and trying to push start it?

i would try bump starting it but there is no spark either. we checked fuses and everything seems fine. however it still just seems to not be getting any power. its not making any noises either.

you might need a new spark plug or coil cable....

actually it has a fairly new plug in it. its just not getting power to anything. the lights wont turn on when the key is in the on position and the starter wont even turn over. thanks for the quick replies btw

Its probobly the fuse off the battery

well i fixed it today

turns out the only thing that i didn't check in the hours i was working on it yesterday was the ground wire to the subframe. thanks for the replies. oh and by the way im not sure if anybody remembers blastereatin250, but that little turd is my brother.
