my 400 comes stock (rear) with 20" tires it now has 18" tires what will that change on the quad. like rpm speed top or low end, and or anything else. i picked up this quad with the 18s on it already just wondering how that affected the quads performance.

Go to http://home.earthlink.net/~gellett/400ex.htm you can type in the gearing and tire sizes and it will tell ya the top speed

Taller tires makes your quad faster but has more time to get up to speed. Smaller tires lets you get speed quicker, but do not let you go as fast.
