JE

get the je 87mm 10.8:1 comp piston. we good power. wiesco's compression ratios are not accurate when it comes to the 400ex.

what has more horsepower?
416 426 or 440 kit
what is the best compression to use?

i like the 426 88mm im using the JE 13:1 piston and it was mean, before my last rebuild. now i need a new connecting rod.

stay with a lower comp. piston or you will be rebuilding your bottem end as i am

thanks for the advice

i think the 426 is the best bore for the 400ex. i have a JE 11:1 426. i would stick to about 11:1 comp., you can still run 93 pupm gas and run great.

so u would say the 426 is better out of the three that answers my question,do u anyone who sells a package deal with 426 kit .

Posted by: 426ex

I'd definitely say the 426. Mine has a 10.5:1 comp and I haven't had a bit of trouble...my son though has a 12:1 in a 440 kit and the bottom end locked up this weekend. We'll be rebuilding this week looks like.
