How do you get the air box off. i can get the lid off but i think i need the whole thing off to grease the strearing stem . its a lil squeeky. Since i have every thing torn off it now might as well hit that squeek.

There are two bolts that hold the filter mounting plate in.Remove those and loosen the clamp and it will come right out after disconnecting the AirTemp wire and vacuum hose.

i just take some 3 in 1 oil and drip it down the stem let it sit overnight work it back and forth a little and drip a little more down there and it gets nice and loose.

what brand of 3 in 1 oil should i get? pick it up at a quad shop or just an auto zone? never used it as you can see

i get it at wal-mart lable says "3 in One" just a general lube that comes in a small can.

I just used wd-40. Put your airbox lid back on. Spray the nozzle at the bushing just below the airbox. You should be able to see it with the plastic off. Maybe it is different on the 02 stems though.
