Just curious if there is still a good demand for Honda TRX90 A-Arms, Swing Arms, and Axles. We had started some prototypes but not sure how extensive we should go. If there is a demand, what widths and travel you interested in? Let us know.
Thanks,
LSR Staff

very interesting question! id like to see an adjustable LSR axle for the 90!
Posted by: THE QUAD GOD
I heard they are taking orders for them, so they must be starting to make them.

I also heard that they are making a bolt-on dual a-arm long travel front end for the TRX90.
I cant wait to see that. Im sure its gonna be trick.

i saw somewhere online of a kit that makes the 300ex arms and shocks fit the 90. I will try to find it for you guys.

the problem i have with alot of the "conversion" front ends is WEIGHT! adding the extra weight on the front of that quad is just wrong IMO. imagine adding a 35 pound cinderblock from your 450R bumper. handling may be improved due to the width gained and suspension travel may indeed be increased, but at what cost?
i know what the 90 is capable of in stock trim, and the bolt on dual arm kits do work well. id like to see a kit that offered a weld in option(i know, gnc requires bolt on for several classes)
id also like to see a swing arm that allows more travel. the room is there if you design it correctly.
ill be happy to see what comes of this, because im so frustrated im getting ready to design my own

hey pappy
icracings first dual a-arm kits were weld-on. i'd bet eric would still have the stuff if you need weld-on. their swing-arm has 8 inches of travel. icracings new dual a-arm/swing-arm kit with disc brakes
billet carrier, and titanium axle will be about as trick as their is
out there. i'll post pictures when dan-o's is done.

i need to get some measurements also, like ground clearence numbers when the disc brake set up is used. XC doesnt lend itself to no clearence...get me a number 212 so i can see if it is feasible for us to run later on.

So far our setup would set the quad out at 48" with 9" of travel. This is one of our fabricator's building up his personal bike. I am just curious if it is worth jigging up and selling. We would have a complimenting swing arm and axle to balanace the weight bias. He is using all 400EX spindles and brakes. A weld in kit could be an option we have just found that many people like to just bolt up and go especially with the mini quads.

What length shocks would it use? Something readily available like a stock 300ex length would be good.
Posted by: Pappy
48 would be good for mx, we run 43 for Xc and we are at the limit of how wide we can run. nationals arent a problem, but locals can get real tight!
Posted by: LSR
We are shooting for a 14" long shock to achieve what we are looking for as far as travel and leverage ratio.

i know a couple years ago they were a couple different widths
they had. ground clearence is good you can see pictures of dan-o's how they are swept up and sits higher than stock. icracing
already has elkas and works that bolt right up to their applications. they use all 400ex fronts and 300ex rear parts.
ask for eric

You guys should check out KOQ racings long travel kits for the 4trx 90. 8+ inches of travel front and rear 25 lbs, lighter then stock, disc brakes front and back, gnc tested by Brittney Snider, NO failiers of any kind, and reasonably priced. Check them out at kidsonquads.com

I would also be interested in a narrower XC longtravel set-up for the 90.

What offset wheel is being used for the 48" of width?

i will be talking with eric tommorow and i will ask about the weld on kits they have and let him know about the xc riders wants and needs

Too funny LSR!!
A day late and a dollar short!! Maybe if you'd get your heads out of the pro's butts and smell the coffee.
You've had a wealth of mini knowledger at your fingertips (me) and when I talk to beep and others about mini's, I'm blew off and ignored.
You've missed out on millions of dollars of mini fabrications.

Sorry..Shouldn't have included any names.

We have to pay the bills before we can change directions! I guess we should cut back sponsorship on the #2 women's rider so we can spend more on mini quads. LOL. J/K

i know you guys have stuff out but how about putting together
a 300 or two

sorry guys i had to try!!!

212 your dead on the money. I know of a few 300ex suspension components and some knock off's, but only 1 or 2 have done anything with todays shocks and riding styles.
I hope someone is watching whats happening in the youth racing, because its growing everyday
