Check out www.atvpathfinder.com. It's a real good site. You've got Mountain Pkwy, Haspin Acres(Ind.), Big Rockand Bucks Run that are about 2.5 +/- hours from Louisville. You can find more info. at the website listed above.

Well all need to hook up and ride. I think Louisville is a pretty good area to live for riding. Its a few hours from so good riding spots. Not a lot of mx though. There is Badlands, Haspin Acres, Redbird (ind), Paddy's Bluff, LBL, S-Tree, White sulfur, Several Tennesse locations, Harlan County, Hatfield McCoy, D&K, Big Rock, Bucks Run. Take your pick.

I think we have a big group going to Paddy's Bluff next month if anyone wants to tag along you are more than welcome.

Let me know some details on that when it gets closer. I'd like to go somewhere to ride next month.

I own an MX track in Milton KY, about 40 minutes from Louisville.
We are having our final ATV race of the year on October 15th&16th. It could be our last year for a full ATV program because nobody shows up. We have Motorcycle races and we get more riders than any track in the area. Someone said "there's not much for MX in the Louisville area". There are plenty of MX tracks, just no ATV MX riders. If anybody is interested in trying to save The Quad program at D Track MX here is where you can get all the info www.dtrackmotocross.com

Ok, mx tracks....Dtrack, Earlywine's, the indoor in Sadieville if it goes in there, BallanceMotoX, Cumberland parkway mx, Daniel Boone, ummm.....there are 2 or 3 in Western Ky, and Podium 1. Did I forget any others that are close? Does Podium 1 offer quad practice now besides the few laps before raceday? I know that last year they didn't. Let me go ahead and say that there are tracks are Mt. Parkway (which I forgot in the trails post), Haspin Acres, and Buck's Run. Haspin Acres has 2 but neither are very impressive. Is there a track in Meade Co., KY? I thought there was one in Indiana off I-64 somewhere between Louisville and Evansville.

Ballance MX is racing this weekend.

I have ridden at Haspin several times. I'd have to say that its one of my favorites just because there are different things to do. You can ride the trails, 2 mx tracks, or make your friends look bad at the drag strip. The trails are ok.

smr, are you going to be at Ballance's this weekend?
Posted by: smr
Ya...they are starting early this weekend so I should be there around 11am.
You coming out?
