Would the crf motor have more maintenance required because it is a race motor? just wondering.

yes .. many and many of oil changes because of the nature of the motor and the small quantity of oil

not as much as the 426 with that they reccomend changing the oil ever moto bacause the clutch sits in the oil

The clutch is in the oil on all fourstrokes.
