(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Well i just got my 450r front shocks in the mail that i bought off ebay for 175 bucks. I Put them on and it looks as if when i bottom out the rezzi will hit the upper A-arm?? I jumped on it as hard as i could with only one shock on and i got it close to bottoming and had some clearance but i want to make sure when im racing and completely bottom it out that it wont result in the shock rezzi being popped off. I also have them on reverse ( rezzis in front) but i dont think it makes any differecne? Ill get pics soon

Turn the shocks arond with the rez's in the rear. I have the same shocks and have no problem.

ill try that but it seems the same clearance

I just got mine in and they're fine. search on this topic, many people have asked that question and so far I've never heard of anyone hitting.

Clean that poor thing once in a while please

I havent even attempted to clean the front half of the quad when i got it, it was covered in mud, Im not gonna waste time until i get the LSR front end on and everything tight.

For that money you could have found a good set of used remote rezzie triple rate spring works shocks (that are actually set up for the 400ex's front end), just curious to why you didn't do that?

Please tell me where you can find some good triple rates w/ rezzies for $175. I've been looking for weeks and besides the occasional ebay find I can't find anything for under $500 with those specs.

I bought a pair off e-bay last summer, they just had a fresh rebuild, springs were/are in mint shape (no dings or paint chips) and got them for $175 shipped. Guess I got a good deal. LOL I love them, couldn't believe how much better they are than the stockers.

Right....

maybe some works with no rezzi, no adj which would actually be worse i think. These has COMP, REBOUND, and Preload ajustment. And Piggy Back Rezzi. I can always get a triple rate setup from TCS also. I might just have my buddy revalve and respring them. For my weight/arm length

Get ahold of Santo Derisi he rebuilt ILGNCC400EXs 450r shocks for his 400ex And they are awsome!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: 400exMO

have you tried to bottom em'?? soften them all the way and jump it. I doubt they'll hit though, but someone needs to find out.
