I have a problem with my idle being to high. any ideas on what it could be? I have already tried my idle adjust and fuel mixture screw. thanks

Make sure the cable has a little slack in it at the thumb throttle.
Loosen the cable locknut and run it in till you have just a little slack, then readjust the idle speed with the idle adjuster on carb.

Also make sure you're getting a good seal on the airboot between the carb and the engine. If you're sucking air in there, it will make it idle fast.

also check to make hot start is not stuck on.

Thanks for the replys. How can you check to see if it is stuck?
