my 300ex is like dead,
every time i go to press the start button the light on the headlight goes out for like 3 seconds and it doesn't start, i heard some clicking around the battery but i don't know what happened. just yesterday i power washed it at my cousins so i might have knocked a wire lose, but does anyone know where it might be.

The same thing happened to me on my 400EX. On mine I just had a loose connection on the + side of the battery. Tighten both the negative and positive bolts on the battery, and maybe this will help. Hope it does, keep me posted.

do you have any way of getting a voltage reading off of the battery
Posted by: sportraxrider10
yes, the battery is fine, me and my dad checked it last night

you can jump the solonoid by jumpstarting the quad at the starter, but i would rather try to pull the quad with something to try first.

i just checked my battery and it was fine, i took my starter apart and nothing was wrong in there, and finally i check the wires were the key connects to the rest of the wires and i didn't find anything wrong with that so i don't know what could be wrong with it....
