Idle issues, need help!

Well, got to ride my EX for the first time in a while. I changed the oil, put a new spark plug in and put in a new battery. It starts fine, but it won't idle. As soon as I let off the gas, it'll idle for a second and then die. Any suggestions as to what could be causing this? Any help is appreciated!

Yeah, I've got it out almost as far as it'll go, but it still wants to die as soon as the choke is off.

Jak1389, I'll try cleaning out the carb and see if that helps. Could my mixture setting be off too?

i doubt your mixture is off unless you changed something like taking off the lid, or puttin a pipe on or something like that. its most likely that it is gummed up from sitting.

well wont if you turn the idle screw out all the way, it is supposed to get really low idle, wouldnt you want to turn it in alot, so it idles faster, to keep it runnign? its just my thinking
