Neon Manual!
Helo, Here i will show you how I installed my neon on my Raptor 350 (yamaha).
----------------------------- STEP ONE ------------------------------
First, have a look on your quad where you could put a neon tube. Then off to a tuning shop or electrical show to get a neon tube. I got mine by StreetGlow©. The optimal size would be 6'' or 9'' depending on where you would like to place you neon (fig 1.0).

Mounting:
how to mount your neon tube? its easy, takes a little work though. First unpack ur tube and get all the cables ready, then look where u want to mount the tube. Lets say right before the back-wheel axe (where i have mine fig. 2.0).

Once u noe where your going to put it, think about the fastning. I used the plastic things (lol don't know what its called.) but u can also use Wire, or string, your choice. then fasten the neon on ur quad.
-------------------------- STEP THREE --------------------------------
After you fastened the neon, put the cabaling up ur frame towards ur seat, (keep it under neath the plastic for more perfection FIG 3.0).

Then once you did that, hook a 9V batter to the cabels, (you can have a switch to control when u want to on ur neon.). The whole thing should be check once again incase of mistakes. Once you have everything mounted it should work perfectly fine. (fig 4.0 - 7.0)

**NOTE**
i take no action if the tube breaks while driving, i also experienced my tube being broken. but with luck it shouldnt.
i advice to use it for show purpus only.

i think that the neons r cool and im goin to hopefully get the when i get a new quad how muc were they and how lonjg did it take to set up ..thanx and yea get pix of it all lit up in the dark

NO!! dont lol, i havent tested it on the standered ATV battery! i dont noe if it works so dont blame me, and if you want to, remeber a switch helps... :P

yes you can hook it up yo your atv battery, just make sure you use a inline fuse and a switch

ive seen neon on quads a couple times mostly poeple who ride in town on the roads have it. but it does look pretty cool espeically when the neon is right in the top of the fenders so it lights up the chassis and wheels and tires.
BUT i do think this should be moved tothe body forum, come on this is the freestyle forum, for ramps, tricks, wheelies and things liek that, i think this being in th ebody forum would be more appropitae

neons will work fine on an atv with an battery... those neons were designed for a car, and most of the cars are 12v, so are atv's... and neons dont pull almost any current. but like was said, an fuse as close as possible to the battery (or wherever power is tapped from) is required or else you run the risk of sparks, etc...

yea the normal quad battery will be fine, but i sugest a additional 9v..
you might have starting problems if you use the neons to much...

I made these neon accsessores on my atv for my own sake. I did them because i wanted to. Here i just show you how.
Doesnt matter what u use them for, e.g. Computers, Cars, buildings, Anythign in that sort has their own uses. so do i. I put it on to give my BEAST a finaly touch!

Alright and remeber that they key is protection, so try and put it somewhere under ur quad, or even In the frame...

HAHAH yea i can, ONCE my battery is fixed :S i lost the whole batter (the stock one) its just died!!! 
!!! so depressing, i do dunes the most, trails only when im bored, but mostly freestyle dunes, nearly broke my axe last time

ANOTHER USEFULL HINT:
Do not try to put ur neon on ur bumper or rear axe, put it on the actualy body frame underneath.

ahah im like sure i can, the neons i got were no more then 5 $ at most (including the 9v battery. BTW anyone got ideas what else i can put on my quad? (lights??)
i was planning to get a tinted head light, prolly Blue or red.. :P

i found that using LEDs works ALOT better, uses less power and u can still go riding without worry about breaking them. my bro has had LEDs on his for over a year now and no problems. They are alot smaller but give off as much light.

I agree with that, and u get amazin colors! i was planning to get a PULS action LED lights, u can fix them anywhere u want, even in ur TIRES!

Um, at any car tuning shop or electrical shop. Where i live theres alot of tuning shops, and theres 2 specially for Quads, they have LED lights for tires, exhaust, motor, light, anything u can actually think of. They would cost around... 6$ the normal 12v ones, around 9'' But the biggerones go up to 15$ or more.
I got old school neon tubes lol but i think if u want it to last longer, and if ur going to use it for a specific use, Use LED lights.
You can get alot of effects with them, like Puls action, or lightning, my bro has that on his car, looks like a disco

Yes thats sweet!
there are millions of ways you can modify your quad to be a riding light bulb. Neons, puls effects, flashing tires, whats so ever, so theres alot out there! i just researched some stuff coz i wanted more lights and effects, hard to find, but easy to order, so before you get going on with neons and leds, research your local area or the net. I found these neons on my quad as i walked pass the shop, lol, i was like MINE! anyway hope you guys look it.. i might give updates...
