Well i was doing a little ridding on my R 2 days ago, and i was going up a hill and i over reved it. it ran fine after that for a little while. but i went to a feild to top her out and ran good. but when i stoped it started running hard. i tryed to go but it would dog out, i could hold it wide open and it would run at really low rpms. like really low. and rode it home like that and asked my dad what he thought and he didnt know. so i started it up. and it idled fine and reved good. put when i would try to go it would dog out . so at first i thought i fried the rings in it. but i got a psi gauge today{fricken 40 bux} and it had about 160-165. and i thought that was pretty good. now i think it may be a fuel issue. i will take and clean the carb out really good tonight. but if you know whats wrong please tell me or give me any info that you may have.
thanks alot for any help,
Mitch

ohh and is 160-165 psi good for a pretty much stock motor with the upgrades listed below?

check your spark plug it could just be fouled, also you could have a jetting issue, but try a new plug, and make sure its gapped right. a lot of times they can be the $2 fix to what you think is the $500 problem.

that was the first thing i did was change the plug. and its gapped right. thanks for the info. and im runnin a 150 jet.

I flipped my quad up on a wheelie the other day, and i threw it back on all 4 and it took like a minute for it to run right, giving it gas it would want to die and wouldn't go, cuz the fuell got out of the carb

but yours was fine for a while untill you stopped, i'd take off the float bowl and check it out in there

HEY, MAYBE YOUR FLOAT BOWL IS STUCK

I'd take the bowl off and investigate

oh and you got good compression
