i was thinking about racing my 250ex now that they make longer a-arms for it this is what i plan to get.......amerian star +2 a-arms, durablue +2 axle, works front shocks, and this is what i am wondering about!........ i want to kno if there is anything i can do to the rear shcok i would like to get one that i can jump big jumps with....... please tell me if there is anyway that you can modify any stock shocks from sport quads so they will mount up to the rear ...........and plz dont leave anything that says well the 250ex isnt made to race blah, blah ,blah........thanx

i'm sure you could always send out the rear shock to get re-valved. You should check out the thread about the banshee shock.
EDIT: NM u started that thread. did u find out if the banshee shocks work in front or back or what?

i think 300ex aftermarket a-arms will work and works i think makes a rear shock for it . idk about the axles but get a pipe and put spacers on the rear if u cant find a axle for it. were do u live and were do u plan on racing it?

yes they are making arms and axels for the 250ex now ASR and Herrman Racing make arms and i know durablue makes an axel and im prudy sure gforce makes one. Elka now makes front shocks for the 250ex rec and comp series. I dunno about the rear shock ill look for you in a minute. Works makes the quadstar rear shock for the 250ex this would be a very very big improvement over the stocker (stock rear is horrible).

yes elka does have theyre rear shock for the 250ex out now
