dude if u want a shaft driven 250... get the honda 250ex its better then thenn z-250.. or in my opinion get the 300ex...

but dont get the z250.. its not worth it

hey lay off bashin the z250, you've done it in both of his threads. I know nothing about these quads but from what I've seen browsing forums and from mags the zuki is better.

read the shootouts in the mags again... the z has harsh suspenshion and a slow pick up .. they choose the ex over it everytime!!!! im not bashing im trying to save this kid from making the rong choice and wasteing money... besides there arent aftermarket parts for the z250

there are plenty of aftermarket parts for the z250 and the z is alittle faster than the ex. the suspension is worse the the ex. and it costs alot more if you have that kinda money you shgould get a used 400ex. for almost 4000 you could get a real nice used 400.jmo.

Hell you could almost get a used 450r for that! if not a VERY nice 400ex or 250r.

browsing online, I have not seen one aftermarket exhaust for the z250. In fact i havent seen anything but wheels for this bike. I was supposed to get this quad but came across a used 2001 300ex for 1800 and like it much more than a new 2005 250Z. (one reason because i dont have any payments.) But think about it. If you plan on modding this quad it is pointless buying brand new, because you are just going to take all the new un used parts that you paid for off in place of aftermarket parts. Thats why i went used.

Get the new 06 250ex they have a clutch and better newer shocks and lights and the clutch doesn't stall if you don't use it. and there are quite a few mod for it that you can get! Just a suggestion. I would either get the new 06 250ex or a used 300ex if you want a clutch.

really dont waste your money on a 250ex or z250. they have very limited possibilities. go with a 300ex or a raptor 350. the 300ex is probablly the best way to go though in my opinion
