New Pictures of my Silver 416EX

Here's a few pictures after the recent rebuild. I had 3 gears go out in the bottom end, so the whole engine is now fresh and everything is ready to go with it. While it was apart I had Pappy PC the Cases, and we painted the cylinder gloss black. I also cleaned/polished/greased/lubed everything while I waited on the motor to be done. Only things missing in the pictures are the PRM full skid and Flexx bars.

motor looks sick... good job i love colors

that plastic looks good I am thinking about getting white or orange plastic I havent decided yet though

Posted by: Dave400ex

Pappy I haven't rode with the Flexx Bars yet. I have to get some fat bar clamps as well as another set of grips. It also looks like I will have to get new handguards. I am looking forward to trying them out though.

The plastic does look nice, but was a pain to get it mounted up like I wanted. Now that it's on, it's not bad, and I switch back to the stock red when I race pretty easy.

looks sharp. the pc'd shamrocks really set the quad off.

hows the 416 compared to 400

Love the red and silver Dave.....that's tight man.

My 416 is very mild, just having the piston and cam. There was a nice increase over stock, down low more then anything, since I went with the TC XC Cam. I like the Sparks 8 plate clutch more then having the extra power, it is awesome. If I was to do it over, or want more power, I would have GT Thunder port/polish and do a valve job, as well as adding a FCR39 carb.

Dave the bike looks great, just be glad all you have is the A-arms!As you can see mine only made 3 races and 2 of them I only made 1 1/2 laps!! Now that the A-arms,Swingarm have both come apart I just wonder when the frame will...

Posted by: Dave400ex

I've yet to have any problems with the new style bottom arms, so that's good. I actually have a Arens stem too, and haven't had problems with it either. Now I can't believe that happened to the Swingarm, I haven't seen that happen...

you wont have to get new hand guards they will work you just have to make new mounts for the front...thats what i did...go to the steering and suspension forum and look at the last page of the flexx bar review I have some pics there its pretty simple
