Hello, I was wondering if you guys could help me out with a cost estimate for my 97 300ex. I need a new clutch, rear brake pads, and a valve adjustment. How much do you thing is a reasonable amount to pay for labor and parts??
Thanks for your help.

Brakepads and a clutch run about $100.

Dealers are ussually $60 an hr. Sounds like a 4hr job . So 'i'm gonna guess $340 and they ussually mark the prices up, and add extra hours.

You could do all of that for yourself and save a bundle.

not having a manual and being on the limited budget that i am, could some of you guys help me out with the installation? I have never put in a new clutch and need a step by step guide. I am going to do it with a "mechanically inclined" friend so hopefully i can save myself a bundle of money. Where is the cheapest place to order a whole clutch kit w/ gasket and anything else i might need.
Thanks in advance,
Alex

Could try our sponsors the QuadShop, or Marcums.

I know magicracing.com always has good prices.

Just order a manual. It would be to hard to explain everything to you in this forum. And your gonna use that manual for a longtime.

So looks like you might have to dish out $130 bucks for your clutch, pads and manual.
