my friend has a 2003 vinson it has 3000 km and the belt has never been changed if he was to put a new belt would he gain a little more top speed or would it not make any diff i know it would grab better during take off but im not sure about top speed

It would not make a difference unless his is so bad it is hurting performance. If you want more performance than normal you need springs, weights, rollers, etc.
