Can somebody post a pic of a 250ex with a HMF pipe on it that still has the shine on it. I want to see a newer pic of one that still has the polished look on it. I don't know why but whenever I see an HMF pipe on a 250ex its seems like they mount up wierd and they aren't as straight as the stock pipe. I doen't make it look as appealing when it looks like it does. Also older HMF pipes without the new shine are ok too!

And why does the shine of a new pipe on a quad go brown. Like what happens to it?

You mean the header pipe? It changes color because it gets so hot.

Harley pipes stay shiny because they actually have a 2nd outer pipe around the inside pipe with a gap between them for a thermal barrier so they shell doesn't discolor. But they are HEAVY.

Pretty much all 4-stroke pipes are going to discolor after 5min of run time.

LOL, BW. Yeah I know, just wondered if this was the "polished" HMF look he was talking about. Never seen a polished one. I guess it couple be one of those cycle ones.

hey my250ex u got any more pics of the 250ex in action that pipe look saweet! I know with the stock pipe it its like the quiestest sprot quad that iv'e ever heard but with the HMF does it boost acceleration goot with the jet kit and the airfilter?

How much louder is the pipe compared to stock? Is it like the same loudness as a 300ex?

it gives it some more torque. the first time you start it with the pipe on, you will be smiling trust me. it sounds awesome. much better than stock. it is pretty loud though. if there are sound restrictions in your area i wouldnt get it otherwise buy it.
