I sprayed on that air craft stripper on my clutch cover and it works great. I put on mothers and it shines. someone told me when i wash the quad the cover will rust. Do i need to put some kind of stuff that will prevent it from rusting.

if it is going to rust after u wash it dry it down and spray some WD-40 on it. That should slow down the amount of rust u get.

I did that to mine and it hasn't rusted yet. But, when i do wash it, i dry it off when i'm done.

It's made out of aluminum it won't rust!

Yeah, its aluminum, it wont rust. It will just dull out and need polished again.
