i've got a cable luber and am going to lube the throttle cable this weekend. if you have done this, do you know if i need to take the end out of the carb before doing this. i can't remember how it connects down there and don't want to get any of the lube into the carb. i did the clutch cable already and it was a piece of cake.

The throttle is a piece of cake too razor. Take the black plastic piece off the side of the carb,,,2 screws hold it on..YOu'll then see that you can easily remove the cable from the throttle pully system. then remove the cover on the throttle assembly to get to the other end,,of course, like ya didn't know that..it was pretty easy...I just did this last week to mine,,but it didn't make any differnce in the pull...I did notice that in my throttle housing there was a ton of crap that was actually causing my throttle to be stiff,,the cable was fine...ya might wanna check that first before ya go tearin into everything else..
