we are in north western VA............a pretty good trip from NC.
but if you want to make the trip, let us know, and we will make sure we are riding that weekend.

july4th we might head up to PA to ride for the weekend.

well,... we (wife) had the baby wednesday night...
but i still wont be able to ride for awhile...
now i need to replace my swingarm bearings but we are have alot of troublegetting the pivot bolt out( for more detail find the post in "suspension, steering..." ) around the end of july my wife will be leaving for a month and a half so i will be able to go on a long "all weekend ride" if i get my quad fixed by then.....HELP!!!!i need to ride!!

i have found alot of trails just by knowing someone. i can park at one friends house out towards widewater,cross rt 1, go under the northbound lane of 95, ride the median( about 5 miles) and ride all the way to the old courthouse road trails,... then cross courthouse road and ride all the way out to ramoth church on American legion rd. cross back under 95 and under rt 1 and go almost all the way out to the dump. The problem comes with the old courthouse rd trails, THERE CLOSED DOWN!! so you cant make this day trip anymore. There are trails everywhere,.... ill get you to go sometime...
i got like 2 places to ride in F'burg too,.. plus the miles and miles of trails on 17 (know as the rapohanak(dont know how to spell it) trails,.. and one GNCC couse/mini moto-x track to play on.... im going out this weekend,.... email me at prayeg@hmx-1.usmc.mil during the day , and prayeg@aol.com after 4 pm

I start out at my brothers place in Park Ridge. It's down 610 by the new DMV. We have been to one trail that goes next to the Rappahannock. there is an area there with jumps next to a nice pond. So good trils back there. Is that the one you ride? I used to live across from Widewater fire dept. in those townehouses. There were a few good trails back there. Never went to far down them though. Those might be the ones your talking about that go into the median of I-95. I seem to remember them going through an aquaduct to cross under it.
I won't be in town this weekend but we might be able to ride with you some evenings during the week. My weekends this month are pretty booked up. Gotta love the summer time.

"SUPERMAN SYMBOL" Thats what I said. There is absolutely no sign of damage on his quad. I've got the Houser a-arms which I believe use "HEAVY DUTY" automotive style ball joints, they split in half. I guess my wheel went in to my plastic and destroyed it, only other damage that I can see so far is bent tie rod. Kinda glad the ball joints broke, weakest link.

It looks worse then it was. Should have been worse for me and Joe. Miracle? Who knows? Frame and shocks look good so far. Havent even bothered to take it apart yet. I didnt even want to unload the damn thing, but I did, locked it up too!?!

well..............we wre all riding together, but 2 of us went back to my house to meet one guy who was arriving late.

Once he arrived the 3 of us headed out towards the spot we left the rest of the gang. I guess they got tired of waiting for us & were on the way back to my place. Vic and I had no time to react. we tried our best to avoid each other, but we clipped left front wheels.

Both of us were thrown off the bikes. Neither bike flipped............but both riders sure did! The funny thing is........we had stopped about 100 yards from this spot & shut off our engines to listen for the group. We didn't hear a thing, so we continued on.

This could have been much worse..........I landed on my head in some rocky terrain. Without a helmet I surely would have had head injuries (which might have actually corrected some of my problems

)

The only damage to my bike was a slightly bent tie rod. Some minor adjustments back at the garage & I was fine. But I sure am sore today.

I got a new tie rod you can have.. it's on me. I'll bring it by this weekend, picking up those tires and rims from Brian. Cant ride though, got plans. I know your dissapointed bout that.

thanks vic...........but it wasn't bad enough to worry about. I just had my bars turned WAY left to be riding straight..........LOL. Its fine now. Get that thing running so we can show off our special olympics routine at hatfield mccoy

Vic and I are going to attempt to pass the torch which riding 60mph in opposite directions around a blind turn!

I was one bike back of these two, and I got to tell you all , I didnt know there were two supermen. LOL I guess only on sundays. But I am glad they were alrite. both stumbled to there feet and no hospital visit. For how fast these two hit, let me tell you , that was amazing. And both bikes live to ride onather day

I was out last night with my bro and a few others near your place last night. We hit the trails off of Rt.1 and rode out on Quantico a bit. It was a good time. I'll have to remember to send you a PM next time we go.

I might have to make this journey sometime in the future. Now that I know how far Front Royal is.......we drove past it going to the Outerbanks this year. If I remember right, its around 3 hours I think, give or take a half hour....
