First, I'd like to welcome myslef, great forum

I have some riding experience, and I really like the Suzuki Z400. I have heard problems that the frame cracks, however I heard for the year 2006, it was solved. Is that true?

And what would you prefer, a Suzuki Z400, or a 400EX, and why?

What are the pros and cons of the Z400 and the 400EX?

I don't think anyone has had an '06 long enough to crack a frame but I'm sure it will happen.

I'm sure with the bad rap that Suzuki got for the frames they beefed them up a little, but any quad that is gonna be abused should be re-enforced. I've seen broken Yfz frames, 450r frames, banshee frames, blaster frames, even a 250r frame or two.

I bought an 05' and tore it down to pc and gussett the frame within the first month. I ride mainly ride MX and do freestyle along with a few harescramble races so my quad is put through some abuse.

They fixed the frame cracking in 2005.
